This government run organisation provide a range of age care services.

Your new role
The organisation is looking for a Claims Consultant to join their HR team. The primary purpose of the role is to effectively manage work and non-related injury and illness claims, both physical and psychological ensuring alignment with Australian Legislation. In addition, the role will be responsible for generalised HR duties including; inductions and on-boarding, providing HR advice to line managers and reviewing HR policies

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in the role you will have 3-5 years experience in a similar role dealing with managing end to end claims both of a psychological and physical nature. Prior Federal Government experience is also preferred. You will have strong influencing and negotiation skills in order to liaise with all internal and external stakeholders of the business including medical professionals and business managers. Strong knowledge of workers compensation insurance legislation is essential.
