Diversity & Inclusive Project Consultant role. Teaching Institution. Melbourne CBD. 6 Month Contract

Your new company
Our client is a well-established Australian teaching institution based in Melbourne CBD. They are currently looking to recruit a competent Diversity & Inclusion Consultant to join their friendly, supportive team to help deliver a raft of simultaneous diversity and inclusion related projects.

Your new role
Using your OD and HR project management expertise, you will:

  • Assisting in the delivery of variety of projects and policy development for workplace cultural change
  • Assist in the design of workforce improvement solutions in line with desired organisational capability
  • Use your superior stakeholder engagement skills to ensure successful buy in and delivery of projects
  • Use your experience within both data analysis and external bench marking to assist the development of internal policies and procedures

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to start the role at short notice. Candidate looking to apply should:

  • Have experience working as either a HR Generalist with experience in diversity & inclusion, an OD professional with project management experience or a HR Project Manager with experience working with project timelines with an understanding and interest in diversity & inclusion
  • Have highly developed communications skills with the ability to both facilitate and negotiate
  • Ideally have a tertiary qualification in HR or OD
  • Have a holistic approach to HR resources with an understanding of the relevant legislation and HR practices
  • Strong project management skills, excellent written and oral communication skills and able to develop and manage relationships across the organisation with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability using a variety of different computer programs and applications
