Head of Employee Experience job - Nationally based Not-for-Profit

Your new company
This major Not for Profit is looking to hire a Head of Employee Experience to join the organisation in a newly created role. Due to the changing environment within the Human Services Sector this role has been created to help streamline and improve a number of the organisation's functions in order to provide an industry leading employee experience. Under the guidance of a newly appointed CEO, the organisation is moving through a significant period of change toward a more effective and forward-thinking business model. The Head of Employee Experience will be critical to facilitating this transition.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the People & Culture Director you will be accountable for the end to end employee experience and also for creating an environment that allows employees to do their best work. You will be responsible for the management and development of a team of 7, formed of the L&D team, Diversity Manager and an Employee Experience Consultant. You will have direct responsibility for L&D, Culture, Workforce Communications, Diversity, Engagement and Retention. Whilst you will sit in the P&C team it is critical that you develop strong stakeholder relationships across the entire business so you can be the key channel utilised to facilitate conversations on what needs to be improved and how to do it. You will ensure effective mechanisms and processes are in place to support and measure effectiveness in these areas, will provide reporting and analytics to management and the Executive and will identify and project lead on any improvement strategies.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have significant experience in the design and delivery of large scale L&D and Engagement strategies. Whilst you will have a team to support you it is critical you are able to demonstrate your ability to influence senior stakeholders to bring about positive business change. Demonstrable Organisational Development experience is also critical as you will be responsible for first reengineering and then continually fine tuning the organisations structure to gain peak performance.
