About the Role
As all great leaders know, success is a mixture of lots of things. You need great strategy, world class products, a solid understanding of your customers and of course, the right people to stand out from the pack.
As the Head of HR, you will have complete responsibility to ensure there is the people capability to continue growing at pace. You’ll work with Senior Leaders to build capability, nurture and grow talent across this 400 strong sales and distribution business. As an member of the country executive, you will work in tandem with your peers to drive growth, whilst maintaining strong links to corporate in New Zealand.

About You
You’re the sort of person who gets people on side and wins trust quickly. You communicate with the best of them and you’ve got a lateral approach to solving problems. You’ve also got the gravitas which comes with your experience – that’s going to help you make things happen in a sustainable way.
You understand the importance of systems and processes, but you’re able to recognise when things aren’t working for the business and adopt an agile means of getting the job done.

To be successful in this role you need:
  • To know what good HR looks like and can lead through significant change, and unite people behind a common purpose,
  • Have business acumen and commercial nous to build and deliver an Australian HR strategy which is complementary to the global HR work and the wider commercial focus of the business,
  • Willing to be part of a networked, globally integrated and organisationally savvy HR team focused on collaboration and the delivery of consistent HR across all the regions.
  • Significant experience in an FMCG sales and distribution business will be highly regarded.
This isn’t just another HR job. You will be a commercial, strategic leader who will shift things up a gear and make great things happen for this premium appliance brand.
