About the Role
This role will work closely with the leadership team to design and deliver a progressive strategy that can adapt to the increasingly diverse needs of the business. This is a key leadership role that is hands-on will have overall responsibility for the Learning & Development function and team.

Reporting to the Head of HR and managing a medium sized team, you will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to build on and continually refine existing programs as well as implement new programs in order to ensure our suite of learning programs are aligned to business goals and internal processes and practices.
  • Conduct training session for the leadership and larger business 
  • Working closely with a large number of call-centre employees conducting training sessions.
  • Manage a team to set overall strategy, approach and execution.
  • Work strategically with executives to plan, create and implement strategy 
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to your team to achieve outcomes
  • Improve existing L&D strategy 
About You
You will be an experienced learning and development subject matter expert able to translate strategic goals into clear plans and actions. With proven success in both a corporate and matrix environment, you will have outstanding influencing, negotiation and facilitation skills allied to strong analytical and diagnostic capability. You will have experience designing and leading learning and development programs across the entire organisation as well as targeted populations.

You will equally comfortable dealing with the training and development of the senior leadership team as well as a large number general employees. You will be flexible, open to feedback and confident to make changes where necessary to ensure the success of key objectives. 

Tertiary qualified, you will have 5+ years similar experience in a large and complex business. You will ideally have a background in insurance or with a business with a large call-centre focus. 

You are confident, outgoing, driven, passionate about people and have a great sense of humor.
