The Company
Your new company is well established and is a well known Australian brand. They have a broad employee group ranging across trade, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and corporate functions. 

The Role
Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide end-to-end HR Advisory to the Corporate and Support client group of around 200 white collar employees. The role will involve a combination of BAU responsibilities as well as some project work, including:
  • Providing guidance regarding HR policies and EAs, contracts, awards and legislation, organisational structure and restructuring,
  • Support safety initiatives,Assist with recruitment activities including interviewing, writing position descriptions and conduction job evaluations,
  • Provide advice and coaching to line managers regarding performance issues, disciplinary and grievances,
  • Partner with middle and line management to develop and implement effective people management strategies and resolve every day operational issues,
  • Process HR Administration for the client group,
  • Providing leadership and coordination of projects including the annual and period activities including the remuneration reviews, performance reviews, KPI reporting and analysis.
Your Experience
You will be an experienced HR Advisor who has previously worked to support your client group by providing advice on policies, procedure, disciplinaries and grievances. You must have the ability to work autonomously and to hit the ground running in a new role.  Requirements include:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, 
  • A strong customer orientation and the capacity to understand and apply a commercial focus,
  • Previous use of an HRIS - Chris21 experience will be highly desirable,
  • Knowledge of the Australian Industrial Relations framework and experience advising line managers in a unionised environment,
  • The ideal candidate will have worked supporting white collar client groups within construction, minim or manufacturing.
