This vibrant, energetic and dynamic organisational leads the way in the global and Australian food industry. Due to aggressive growth and gaining market share over its competitors, this organisation is now expanding its Queensland operations beginning with a HR Advisor for the State.

Your new role
Your new role will work collaboratively with the Queensland Human Resources Manager, and will sit as an important part of the national HR team. This role will be hands-on and operational allowing you to work with autonomy at times and with innovation. You will gain exposure to a global operation and work alongside some of the industry's most talented HR practitioners who will provide you with true career development, coaching and guidance and opportunities for advancement.

You will operate as a true HR generalist and have focus on the delivery of HR functions including:

  • Workplace health and safety
  • WHS compliance
  • Training and development
  • Injury management
  • Return to work coordination
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Workplace investigations and performance management
  • Development plans and coaching

What you'll need to succeed
You love working in a fast-paced environment and thrive on no two days being the same. Ideally, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in business or human resource management, as well as some solid hands-on HR experience. You are adaptive and reactive in your working style and can engage with a dynamic workforce through your strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills. You will thrive on working autonomously as well as part of a team and enjoy a role which offers a variety of strategic and operational HR components.

What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a beginning salary of $70,000 + Superannuation plus a variety of other perks in this role. Hours for your new role will be full-time, Monday to Friday. You will do some local and interstate travel to attend key stores, national HR conferences and participate in career development HR programs. You will be involved in the strategic direction for this company and work closely with the business' key leaders to drive the business forward.
