We are searching for a highly dynamic and adaptable HR professional based in either Sydney or Melbourne to provide thought leadership and practical people support to our local and international Consultants across the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle. Additionally, this role will also be responsible for the delivery of several strategic initiatives including health and wellbeing and diversity.

Reporting into the Human Resources Manager, the role is responsible for:

  • Execute across a broad range of activities and initiatives to deliver BCG’s holistic health and wellbeing program
  • Lead and deliver the Health and Safety framework consistent to legislated requirements in each state or territory,
  • Project coordinate and contribute to the Diversity and Inclusion approach at BCG, including support for the Pride@BCG network and Women@BCG initiative
  • Coaching, supporting and advising employees on individual employee issues relating to their employment at BCG
  • Act as a partner to our international staff so that they have a successful and fulfilling experience whilst working for BCG Australia
  • Providing analytical insights and people metrics to senior management to support people related business decisions

The successful candidate will take ownership of major end-to-end processes and projects; bring in-depth knowledge of HR management principles and practices; have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and coach stakeholders with an authentic and empathic style. Highly developed communication skills, applied in a variety of contexts including presentations, facilitating meetings and influencing key stakeholders, and ability to problem solve, think strategically and show initiative are critical to the success of this role.

You will also have:

  • Significant experience executing on people related projects
  • Experience within HR, gained in professional services
  • Degree level qualification in Human Resources (or related field)
  • Experience in Health & Safety including injury management
  • Very strong computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are essential
