This national organisation has their head office in Brisbane's Southern suburbs and numerous sites across Australia. They have a long standing history of providing quality services in the construction and infrastructure industries.

Although their workforce has grown, they still maintain their family feel and values. This business is currently booming with multiple projects around Australia.

Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, you will be a key addition to a small HR team. You will showcase your strong HR generalist skills with a focus on ER/IR, Injury Management and Safety that will round out and complement the HR function.

  • Providing expert advice, coaching and support to the management and staff on a broad range of HR issues;
  • Support business leaders with performance management, implementation of key enterprise wide initiatives, performance review processes, recruitment and selection and employee relations advice;
  • Develop return to work and suitable duties plans for injured workers;
  • Processing and managing workers' compensation claims;
  • Provide timely and accurate advice to employees and manager in relation to Human Resource policies and procedures.

Your broad range of experience within HR will hold you in good stead to proactively deal with HR issues. You will be a good communicator with strong commercial acumen and a flair for negotiating and achieving outcomes.

You will be tertiary qualified in Human Resources or a relevant qualification. Your proven experience partnering in an operational capacity demonstrating strong influencing and negotiation skills will be highly regarded.

You will be a proactive HR Advisor who is able to work in a blue collar, multi-site, fast paced environment. You will have demonstrable flexibility in your approach and be a creative problem solver. This role will provide the opportunity for growth and development in a close knit team.
