An opportunity currently exists for an experienced HR and Talent Manager to join the Forethought Talent team on full time basis.

Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver people focused solutions and strategic HR advice across a range of activities.

You are a senior HR generalist and recruitment partner in a professional services environment; possessing post graduate qualifications in Management, Human Resources or Organisational Psychology. Resourceful with a high degree of social intelligence, you are well organised, flexible and thrive in a dynamic, owner-operator consulting environment. Self-motivated, effective in teams and able to build strong and engaging relationships, you are diligent, and detail oriented with demonstrated coaching and influencing skills.

You possess a sound understanding of the commercial context of consulting and professional services and regularly manage competing demands to deliver to deadlines. You balance best practice end-to-end talent management practices coupled with a sound knowledge of current employment legislation and change management practices.  You will have proven success in building high performing teams through effective recruitment strategies, as well as being a trusted advisor to your stakeholders. You are happy both advising and being hands-on. You're looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across the full spectrum of HR functions.

You will be responsible for activities including, but not limited to:

  • Developing and delivering high quality Talent solutions to enable the business to achieve its strategy; driving people processes to optimise performance and development;
  • The attraction, recruitment and retention of exceptional talent with a strong focus on the end-to-end recruitment of Consultants, Analysts, Executives and other skilled professionals;
  • Advising the business of Talent related matters across remuneration and benefits, colleague relations and employment legislation compliance;
  • Managing performance, capability development, workforce planning and engagement to build the success of individuals and the firm;
  • Facilitate learning and development programs to empower high performing teams and create innovative leaders;
  • Position Forethought as an Employer of Choice through innovative ideas, with a focus on enhancing the employee experience;
  • Build an in-depth understanding of each business portfolio and partner with leaders to deliver people projects and initiatives;
  • Coach, counsel and guide business leaders.
