Fantastic opportunity for a HRBP with an emphasis on Industrial Relations to provide advice for 6/12 months

Your new company
This local council is seeking an experience HR Business Partner to join the HR team and provide advice on to managers. The focus will be initially on Industrial Relations. The council is based in the Blue Mountains and the contract will go for a period of 6 months with the view to extend for a further 6.

Your new role
As the Senior HR Business Partner you will be focusing on Industrial relations: Providing advise to managers; conducting investigations and providing general operational support to the council.

  • General operational HR work such as Recruitment advice and oversight
  • Occasionally involved with some interviews
  • Industrial Relations - ER/IR related issues

Reporting to the current HR Manager you will also provide adhoc HR project work

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience as a HR BP or Generalist with exposure in Industrial Relations.
  • You will need to have a strong understanding and dealing of ER/IR
  • Experience with or knowledge of local government council awards
  • HR experience across HR Generalist is essential to be able to get involved with various tasks.
