About the Role

The HR Partner must proactively build and maintain effective client relationships, using a variety of communication stylers and approaches which integrate HR into client planning processes, emphasising HR activities that support the strategy of each Faculty and Division.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Proactively manage the relationship between the HR team and senior managers/stakeholders within each business group to enable them to achieve their strategic goals
  • Build strong partnerships and provide counsel, advice and coaching to Senior Leadership to enhance the performance and capability of their teams and to address a range of workforce issues , performance management, change management, remuneration and career development
  • Ensures effective communication within HR on client priorities to ensure that solutions being developed meet client needs. This includes identification of potential issues and mitigation of risk to the organisation.
  • Proactively partner with clients to implement strategic HR initiatives including workforce planning, talent management and succession planning, systems implementation, leadership development programs, and other related workforce strategies.
  • Using data to assist clients to understand their workforce, and to develop and implement people planning strategies in support of the organisations strategic workforce objectives.

About Success

To be successful in this role you will need to have strong people/relationship building skills, including experience in providing authoritative advice to managers and staff. In addition, you will need highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, make decisions, set realistic goals and meet deadlines. Furthermore, you will need sound generalist experience across the spectrum of Human Resources combined with tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
