Primary Purpose
Reporting to the National HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will coach leaders in distinct business units on our people practices.  As a member of the wider HR team, you will design and deliver key strategic HR initiatives including participating in regional HR projects. The role is supported by the HR shared services function assisting with recruitment, onboarding and compliance, remuneration and benefits, organizational development, HR systems and safety.

  • Contribute and deliver upon the HR Vision and Roadmap, align this with the strategic people direction of the business units
  • Coach managers in end to end employment lifecycle, workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, performance, discipline, remuneration, L&D, succession planning, employment relations;
  • Manage HR initiatives, projects and process improvements including Employment Branding, Diversity and Inclusion, Engagement & Recognition, Succession and other people initiatives
  • Act as a change agent to move the organisation forward by achieving strategic HR business objectives.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications Required
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Sound experience as an expert HR Advisor with a desire to move into a HRBP role
  • Experience as a HR professional, assertive, confident with positive “can do attitude”, self-driven with high initiative
  • Ability to influence leaders, make sound/independent judgements and decisions
  • Confident handling performance, disciplinary and employment relations matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills, sound communication with the ability to  build effective relationships and be an active member of multi-disciplined teams
  • Superior multitasking, time management, organizational skills with attention to detail
