About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture you will be a hands-on business partner who can offer consulting, advisory and coaching expertise to the business. Key functions to the role are: capability development and coaching/ training, employee relations, and providing day-to-day operational support across a broad range of generalist activities, whilst ensuring that business unit and organisation-wide HR strategies are implemented and achieved.  

Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide professional, business-focused HR service. Build strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication.
  • Take a coaching approach and provide information to empower and enable business leaders.
  • Promote new ways of working and agree on appropriate interventions to maximise opportunities, support change and manage risk.
  • Provide advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, employee relations recruitment strategies, and managing changes processes.
  • Co-ordinate end to end talent acquisition and selection process.
  • Analyse HR data and develop and implement various procedures and reports.
  • Take opportunities to build shared understanding and ownership of the organisation’s vision, values, strategies and culture.
  • Support the Manager, People & Culture in the development, implementation and evolution of the people strategy, working to embed a strategic and integrated approach across HRV.
  
About You
You will be experienced in HR, having worked in a complex environment and comfortable in adapting your approach to partner with leaders on key HR matters. With a genuine and professional approach, you will enjoy building relationships and trust to offer support and drive outcomes.
  
Previous experience or passion to further develop in the areas of ER/ IR, systems and processes will be highly regarded.
