This is a great opportunity for a commercially oriented HRBP to operate with autonomy yet still have the benefit of working in what is a truly supportive and collaborative environment.
Purpose of the Role: 
As an HRBP you will deliver strategic and operational HR support to a diverse client group of 500+. This position will provide guidance, counsel & support to the business and to key business unit stakeholders.

This position will also implement all People strategies into each of the Business Units, whilst contributing to the Corporate People and Learning strategic plan across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional, operational HR advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, awards, employment legislation, and managing change processes.
  • Develop initiatives for workforce planning; staff attraction and retention
  • Provide high quality industrial and employee relations advice through to resolution.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions) promoting positive changes in the management of people and performance improvement.
  • Support in the development and implementation of procedures and initiatives to promote equality of opportunity and diversity.
  • Contribute to policy development and implementation in relation to industrial and employee relations matters.
  • Identify, develop and review HR policies, practices and procedures.
About You:
  • To be considered for this opportunity you will have a successful track record of working as an HR Business Partner with experience in interpreting and consulting on industrial awards and employee relations. 
  • Change and project management, demonstrating the ability to coach and lead client groups through these periods of change.
  • You will be an exceptional communicator, a skilled negotiator, capable of clear decision-making and able to adopt a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate working effectively in environments of high activity, competing priorities and time-pressured environments.
  • A tertiary or post-graduate qualification is essential.
