This is an opportunity to work within an exciting opportunity to work in a progressive and evolving organisation with a large and sophisticated HR model.  The organisation not only offer the opportunity to work in an evolved HR function but they are also early adopters of flexible working patterns.  The internal client group are an intellectual group, demanding high levels of service on BAU matters and well thought out initiatives.   The role will also work on multiple projects which are increasingly change related as the organisation goes through a sustained period of modernisation.

This role is part of a client aligned HR generalist function in a decentralised team structure. There is a strong link with the HR specialist teams also, which allows for a consistent and collaborative approach across the whole HR function. 

The main BAU accountabilities in this role are:
  • Providing advice and support to managers and staff on HR policy, procedures and processes.
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives aimed at improving HR service within and across client groups.
  • Support managers with their vacancies through external recruitment or internal redeployment
  • Help create a diverse and safe environment through EEO and WHS regulations
  • Coach internal clients through the performance management process
The organisation are looking for candidates with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Solid experience in a HR Generalist position for 6+ years is required.  The roles are client-facing, frontline positions so the ability to genuinely consult with stakeholders and offer practical and pragmatic advice is essential.
