HR Coordinator job in Geelong, contract until April 2019 initially, full time hours, start immediately

YOUR NEW COMPANY
Hays has strong relationships with the Geelong based Government organisations and one of our clients currently requires an experienced HR Coordinator to assist with growth within the team.

YOUR NEW ROLE
The primary role of the is to ensure that contracted staff are engaged through agreed procurement channels and tracked throughout the Streamlined Sourcing process. You will assist with the attraction, appraisal, on-boarding and financial management of these staff whilst liasing with external agencies Tasks will include (but not be limited to);

  • Ensure that contractors are engaged through agreed procurement channels and tracked throughout the process.
  • Development of procurement documentation.
  • Collate and make recommendations of candidates to the requesting Business Area.
  • Raising of Purchase Orders.
  • Maintaining a shared database.
  • Responding to enquiries.
  • Managing the timely on-boarding of successful candidates.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships internally as well as with recruitment agencies.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working within a HR team
  • Be highly organised, flexible and embrace change
  • Strong IT and systems knowledge
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • High level organisational and coordination with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment
  • Strong work ethic and be equally as effective working in a team or independently
  • Australian Citizenship required
