HR Generalist role requiring an immediate start for 12 months in Sydney CBD

This Government organisation requires a HR Generalist to join the team for 12 months. Working closely within the small HR team in the CBD. This Government Organisation is forward thinking, offering a great working location and team culture. They require an experienced professional to join the team asap

Your new role

You will be adopting the role of a HR Generalist, with your main focus on the following duties:

  • Provides specific support to enable the smooth delivery of all HR services to our client groups eg training records management, WHS administration, recruitment administration, onboarding/off boarding and training scheduling.
  • Act as a point of reference for HR queries from staff and managers across the Department/ Agency.
  • Support the recruitment and OD functions Onboard all new employees into the payroll system and organize contracts, new starter packs and system access.


Furthermore, you will have relevant tertiary HR qualifications with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an HR department. You will be confident working in a small HR team liaising with staff of all levels. You will be an organised and solution focused and be a quick learner for new HR systems.
