Stand Alone HR Job Opportunity in Sydney CBD. Global Brand. Fast Paced. HR Generalist experience required.

Your new company
Fast paced consumer brand with an expanding footprint in the Australian market is currently looking to bring an experienced HR generalist on board to take on a standalone role working at the head office in Sydney.

Your new role
Reporting to the HR Director based overseas, you will work in an independent capacity with full day to day responsibility for all HR, L&D and payroll tasks for the Australian operations of 70 - 80 employees.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coaching and supporting stores and retail staff in all areas of employee relations and performance management
  • Advising on HR policies, fairwork and award interpretation
  • Recruitment - source and selection, onboard at all levels of the organisation
  • HR administration, drafting of contracts, HR metrics and labour reporting;
  • Fortnightly payroll processing
  • WH&S and RTW administration;
  • L&D and any training coordination.

In addition over the next 12 - 18 months there will be further store openings and strategic growth in ANZ, which will offer further career opportunities for the successful applicant.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HR Generalist or Senior HR Advisor who has worked in a stand alone capacity previously. You will enjoy working in a smaller team culture and office environment. You will ideally have experience of working in retail as an HR professional or in retail operations however this is not essential. You will be experienced in HR support and enjoy recruitment and onboarding. You will have knowledge of payroll processing and be confident and happy to work in a standalone role. You will ideally have worked in this industry, however this is not essential. You will have a passion for Employee Relations and have a good up to date knowledge of all areas of performance management, award interpretation and fairwork.
