HR Generalist role - $35 p/h + super

Your new company

A well established Government organisation based in the Sydney area are seeking a highly capable and organised HR Generalist to join their team on a 3-6 month contract with a view to go permanent. This team works collaboratively in a very accessible office nearby public transport.

Your new role

You will be working in a medium sized HR team, supporting in all areas of HR. You will be required to liaise with hiring managers on new roles, post job adverts, screen CVs, arrange interviews, negotiate offers and on-board new hires. You will have experience using TALEO and be used to working in a fast paced, high volume team environment. Furthermore, you will be assisting on other HR duties supporting the HR manager on systems based activities.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have strong communication skills, be a competent administrator, and be proficient in systems processing in a complex regulatory environment. You will have relevant local work experience providing you with an understanding of Australian employment law. You will also have experience working with a range of internal/external stakeholders. Experience in the public sector is preferable but not essential.
