HR manager, Head of People & Culture job in central Sydney for Media business.

Your new company
ASX Listed Media organisation with a collaborative national team of 500 staff with head office in Sydney, require a new People & Culture Manager to provide professional HR advice and guidance through change, restructuring whilst driving culture and employee engagement.

Your new role
Reporting to the Group Head of HR and CEO, you will develop and deliver an exciting and challenging HR strategy in line with change management and structuring programs for 2017 - 2018. You will lead a team of 2 advisors, and business partner with the senior leadership team on ER and IR issues. You will implement new L&D, Talent, Reward & Recognition strategies for the organisation, whilst providing hands on operational support on day to day business needs. You will in addition be the subject matter expert on complex case management, ER/IR, EBA interpretation, HR policy and process issues. You will have responsibility for managing and overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process ensuring best talent both internally and externally to develop and succession plan.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a successful HR Manager or Head of HR for a small to medium sized organisation with a hands on and practical mindset. You will enjoy working in a fast paced and often creative culture where leaders and employees are passionate about their craft and the products they create. A background in Media, Digital or Agency would be desirable. You will be a seasoned business partner in all areas of ER/IR, HR process and policies and be happy to advise on BAU and operational matters. In addition you will be experienced in HR project work led but change management agendas. You will have a track record of advising business leaders on restructuring, organisation development, redundancies, culture change and be a seasoned negotiator and problem solver. You will be ambitious, drive and thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Knowledge and expertise of Industrial Relations would also be advantageous.

The salary on offer is $140,000 - $150,000 package and office are central Sydney, close to public transport and parking provided.
