HR Manager job in Sydney for Retail Brand with 500+ workforce. Retail or Fashion Retail experience preferred.

Your new company
Well established Retail brand with 500+ employees across the country, is experiencing significant growth and expansion. This is a rare leadership position, to manage and deliver HR services to a large store network across the country.

Your new role
Reporting to the MD, you will lead a small and high energy HR team, managing all HR processes and culture programs at a national level, as well as localising global initiatives. You will be responsible for managing the recruitment function and HR advice provided to all stores and brands nationally, including workforce and succession planning for current and new store openings. You will deliver performance management coaching, advising employees through workplace investigations and ensuring day to day HR policies and processes are adhered to by the managers and wider business. Other core areas will include HRIS, WHS, performance reviews, remuneration and benefits and all training activities. You will be the subject matter expert for ER and IR issues, and provide leadership coaching and guidance. In addition you will be responsible for the delivery and execution of any new people related global projects and programs and business partnering with the wider global HR team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced HR Manager or Head of HR for a medium sized retail brand, ideally fashion, accessories, beauty or similar luxury or designer products. You will have lead a small team and have experience of working with the senior leadership team including GMs, MDs and/or CEO of the business. This is a very hands on role, and the idea candidate will be equally passionate about operational HR work and day to day coaching, as well as strategic people projects.
