Stand alone HR Manager - ANZ job working in APAC Medical Devices business in Northern Sydney.

Your new company
A truly global corporate specialising the design and distribution of cutting edge technology and products, with a well established Australian business. With offices across the globe and a strong presence in APAC this HR Manager opportunity is based in Sydney working for the Australia, NZ and APAC region.

Your new role
Working as part of a global HR team, with head office in the US, and reporting to the HR Director for APAC in Singapore, you will be a true business partner for a small high performing team of white collar professionals in Sydney. You will be responsible for all areas of HR, coaching employees and managers through recruitment, talent management, employee engagement and talent development. You will drive leadership development, reward & recognition programs for the local workforce, as well as manage any HR process, reporting, payroll processes and compliance requirements. Coaching managers through performance management, advising on ER and legislative issues, will also be a key component. Finally you will be a business partner to the local ANZ offices to ensure any new culture program, talent initiative or key global project is rolled out and delivered successfully. Being part of a global matrix structure, you will be expected to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across APAC and corporate head office based in US.

What you'll need to succeed
As this is a stand alone position in ANZ, you will be an experienced HR Business Partner or HR Manager who enjoys working in an independent capacity whilst being part of a larger Global HR team. You will have experience of working in a similar matrix structure and must have exposure to working in a multinational or global HR environment. This is a true HR generalist position and additional payroll experience is needed. You will hold a Bachelor degree and be an HR Generalist with high calibre coaching skills. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills including partnering and working with senior leaders.
