Stand alone HR Manager job for US owned business in North Ryde, Sydney

Your new company
US owned consumer business with a growing workforce in Australia is seeking an experienced HR generalist to take on a stand alone HR Manager opportunity for a period of 12 months. Working with a motivated and high performing leadership team and CEO.

Your new role
This is a stand alone HR Manager role with full responsibility for all HR operations and strategic activity for a fun and motivated workforce of 60 staff. You will drive culture and engagement and be the backbone of the business, ensuring leaders, managers and employees have the best coaching and HR advice provided to them to ensure the success of the company. You will be responsible for all recruitment, talent attraction and onboarding;; training coordination,; employee relations and advising on local HR policies and processes as well as liaising with global HR on compliance and reporting. Other duties will include : performance management, workplace investigations; WHS and process improvement. In addition you will prepare the company's payroll and work with the outsourcing provided ADP to ensure the timely processing of the payroll and superannuation. You will also be responsible for staff events, people and culture activities and any employee engagement programs and incentives.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be immediately available or have a short notice period and be able to commit to a 12 month contract. You will b a positive and enthusiastic HR Manager who enjoys working in smaller teams, feeling part of a family and close knit environment. You will be a knowledgeable HR generalist and be happy to take on all recruitment duties and operational HR tasks as well as the more strategic and HR project focused work. You will have experience of working in a sales focused, event or white collar business environment and be happy to work in an independent capacity. You will ideally have knowledge of payroll and exposure to ADP or another payroll system, or outsourcing provided.
