Temporary HR Officer opportunity based in the CBD supporting a HR team

National charity in the community support space who work closely with families, healthcare professionals and researchers. This organisation is focused on providing an outstanding service to a wide range of people.
Our client is a leading provider in the community support space and they are currently looking for a temporary resource to support their growing HR team. The organisation requires an exceptional HR Policy Officer on a temporary basis for 2 to 3 months to join the HR team based on the CBD. This is a full time opportunity.

Your new role
The organisation is looking for a HR Policy Officer to start immediately and the successful candidate will be focused on a assisting the established HR team over a very busy period. You will report into the National Manager People and Culture and will assist them to review and update HR policies and procedures, ensure that policies and processes are aligned to the organisations strategic plan, and assist the team with other ad hoc HR/administrative functions as required.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a strong administration and HR Officer background and will have a background in reviewing policies and procedures while making recommendations for change. You will have an understanding of HR principles and be able to work to deadlines. You will possess intermediate/advanced Excel skills. You will be a driven individual who works well in a team and has excellent problem solving skills. You will also have the ability to work autonomously and be structured in your approach to work and deadlines.
