The HR Service Partner drives success through people ensuring staff are engaged and enabled to demonstrate the mecwacare values of caring, accountable, respectful and ethical behaviours to enhance a quality client experience. Working closely with the Service Managers and the HR Team this role will provide HR support and guidance in performance management, industrial relations and workforce engagement. Using contemporary HR principles the successful applicant will identify and implement programs and best practice initiatives in recruitment and engagement to grow our multicultural workforce.

To be successful in this position you will possess:
  • Ability to support and mediate the resolution of complex performance management and employee relations issues in a proactive manner to achieve positive outcomes
  • Build positive relationships with managers and staff, working in partnership with service delivery teams to achieve mecwacare’s objectives
  • Well-developed consulting and influencing skills in order to implement changes and foster a positive culture at all levels
  • Strong presentation and coaching skills and an ability to adjust style to suit the audience
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and engage staff in initiatives to improve recruitment, onboarding and staff utilization. Experience in providing input and playing a pivotal part in the enterprise bargaining process.
