HR Officer needed for a Not-for-Profit Association, Sydney CBD, immediate start, 4-6 week role, PT.

Your new company
This unique Not-for-Profit is a passionate advocate for employees working within the NSW Public Sector. You will be supporting a supportive and bustling HR team to deliver activities and objectives across all facets of HR. This is a people facing and varied role, perfect for a proactive HR professional looking for a part time opportunity (3 days per week) in the Sydney CBD. The role is initially offered for 4 weeks but has the capacity to go permanent.

Your new role
As a HR Support Officer, you will deliver the following duties:

  • Respond as the first point of contact relating to all HR queries, providing advice on HR and payroll policies and procedures.
  • Assisting the HR Manager to prepare reports relating to HR and payroll metrics.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment operations, on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Drafting and issuing employee correspondence relating to terminations and contract changes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience delivering HR objectives as a HR Officer/HR Coordinator, or similar.
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, or related discipline.
  • Experience interpreting and advising on HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience working in a similar role within the Australian Public Sector will be highly regarded.
