About the Role:

Reporting to the HR Client Services Manager, you will be part of a specialised team that provides systems administration and application support to resolve incidents, manage problems, fulfil user requests, perform systems maintenance and patching, work with software service providers and perform the implementation of small changes.

This is a diverse role that requires a high level of technical proficiency as well the ability to communicate well with, and support various stakeholders.  You will work with different business groups to identify areas of process improvement and take a lead role in the implementation of solutions.

Responsibilities include:
  • Performing incident and problem management support and resolutions, request fulfilment, access management, minor software releases and patches, system change management and project transition;
  • Systems training, support and User Acceptance Testing for all HR specific PeopleSoft  and PageUp modules;
  • maintenance of the HRM website and related content as designated;
  • Working collaboratively with leadership, team members, internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are implemented;
  • Building productive stakeholder relationships, promoting effective use of PeopleSoft HCM and related systems and providing timely feedback on assigned incidents and requests; and
  • Contributing to process improvement and collaborating with key stakeholders to maximise value.
What success looks like:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology plus demonstrated experience in using large HRIS systems, preferably PeopleSoft HCM and related applications, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level analysis and proactive front and back end system support to a wide range of clients to address system issues;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and oral forms, and a strong commitment to exceptional client service; and
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improved services and to implement solutions, which may be system, business, process or technology-based.
