HRIS Project Manager - Success Factors - Contract

Our client, a key services provider within the public sector is on the verge of major change and requires a professional to manage and lead in a crucial role.

This position is a critical function that will lead the transition from VAGO's current HR, performance management, timesheet and payroll systems to Success Factors.

In the operations of your assigned team, you will support your Director by:

  • Assisting in the scoping of requirements and drafting the project plan.
  • Ensuring agreed budgets and timeframes with our internal stakeholders are met, and ensuring quality assurance of deliverables produced.
  • Regularly monitoring and reporting on outputs, key systems, resources, budget and timelines for delivery.
  • Identifying resourcing requirements and developing/implementing solutions to meet these needs.
  • Engaging external third-party service providers, consultants and/or labour hire agency contractors to produce deliverables.
  • Assigning workflow to contracted (inhouse or outsourced) team members and monitor their key work outputs.

The main challenges to this role is:

  • Aligning technology solutions implementation with the business priorities.
  • Building momentum for change and maintaining change champion role throughout life of the project, including advising stakeholders with low appetite for change.

To be successful in this position you must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or similar and/or tertiary Technology qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
  • Solid practical application, experience and a track record of success leading projects, especially technology system transitions.
  • Effectively managing risk, procurement and resources, including finances, contracts, assets and records.
  • Effectively managing technical team's workflow and performance
  • Proven ability to create and deliver innovative solutions to business issues aligned to organisations' strategic vision
  • A sound understanding of project management strategies.
  • Actively supports, motivates and develops individuals and teams using a coaching/mentoring approach
