NFP seeking an experienced HRIS

Your new company
A renown National Not-for-Profit organisation with a long history of providing high quality service to the North Queensland community. The organisation provides counselling, mediation, family dispute resolution, youth services and community engagement.

Your new role
As s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Administrator you will be accountable for all aspects of the HRIS software packages, including data entry, data integrity,data Maintenance, system training, system development and implementation, and system performance.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the best practice Human Resources Management services, which includes but not limited to:

  • Develop HRM advice and support to management and staff of the agency
  • Develop HR policies and procedures
  • Functional responsibilities for recruitment, employee remuneration and benefits, IT and ER, Payroll and information systems and records, performance appraisals, employment agreements, and professional development administration

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be required to manage your own workload, set deadlines, and operate independently. You will need to think proactively, independently and be innovative in your approach.
It is mandatory in this role that you have demonstrated payroll administration experience with an understanding of payroll and HR systems such as HR3 and CONNX, or a proven ability to learn these systems. Other skills that would be highly desirable include:

  • Experience in a Payroll/HR role for a medium organisation
  • Ability to manage payroll and HRIS using ICT systems
  • Ability to interpret and convey the requirements of the relevant legislation, award entitlements, and IR/ER procedures
  • Experience in presenting and interpreting HR statistical data
