A 3 month contract role with the option of permanent contract for an experienced HR Manager.

Your new company
A leading Indigenous organisation headed in Alice Springs is seeking an experienced HR Manager to commence on a 3 month contract. Pending performance a permanent role is on offer on conclusion of the assignment.

Your new role
This integral leadership role requires you to provide strategic guidance to all members of the organisation. You will be responsible for the key areas of Human Resources including generalist HR, WHS, Payroll, Learning and Development and Administration.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate previous HR management experience ideally within an Indigenous or Government organisation. You will lead and promote a positive and engaging workforce whilst also having the personal strength to make difficult decisions including performance management and employee relations. You will be experienced in mentoring and managing direct staff and have practical knowledge of local employment law and legislation. This role will also see you providing statistical data on recruitment and retention, performance to KPI's and workforce development. You will also work to ensure the organisation's policy and procedures are maintained and followed throughout the workforce.

Reporting directly to the General Manager a territory qualification in HR or a similar discipline is required
