Your Role:

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will assist with the development and implementation of the HR strategy, initiatives, systems and processes in order to drive cultural change and to ensure alignment  with overall business objectives.    

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of effective HR processes, procedures and systems.
  • Providing advice, coaching and support to the business/stakeholders on HR issues, policies and procedures.
  • Assisting the Head of HR with the development and implementation of programs and initiatives.
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for both blue and white collar positions.
  • Managing the remuneration reviews.
  • Assisting in job evaluation, salary benchmarking and banding.
  • Advising and supporting managers on disciplinary issues/grievances, and performance management issues.
  • Interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Awards and advising managers & employees of their obligations to comply.
  • Assist the Head of HR with any IR related matters.

Essential Skills & Experience:

To secure this opportunity you must have experience in a  HR Generalist role within a manufacturing environment, including salary benchmarking & job evaluation; interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreement and Award conditions; some IR; and a relevant Degree qualification.
