Instructional Designer | eLearning Developer | Contract Role | CBD Based | Immediate Start

Your new company
You will be joining a specialist area of a large State Government department based in Brisbane CBD.

Your new role
This position will work with the subject matter experts to:

  • Design and develop interactive workplace learning and development programs and initiatives that cater to a variety of learning needs that contain examples and scenarios
  • Collaborate and consult with technical experts to conduct training needs analysis and develop storyboards / session plans
  • Apply contemporary workplace learning methodologies and practices, training processes and adult learning theories in the approach to design and development
  • Develop and implement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development program/s
  • Produce a variety of learning and development materials and resources to meet learning and development objectives
  • Create e-learning content and programs using Articulate Storyline
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to ensure high quality learning outcomes are achieved and align with the Department's objectives.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Advanced skills in Articulate Storyline.
  • Knowledge and application of Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier Pro
  • Knowledge and application of Learning Management Systems.
  • Advanced skills in Word and PowerPoint
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in adult education, teaching, human resource development, Cert IV in Workplace Training
