The Company

Our client is a large and complex industry leader moving through significant change. The workforce is made up of a mix of blue and white collar employees based across multiple locations in NSW. 
 
The Role

Operating in a matrix structure, the role reports to the Corporate Communications Manager.
Responsibilities include: 
  • Act as a strategic and operational partner to client groups on all internal communications issues, providing consulting services to help ensure that business objectives are achieved and policies and guidelines are followed.
  • Initiate and lead in assigned business wide internal communications projects, programs and initiatives.
  • Act as principal advisor to senior managers/project managers on internal communications best practice and strategies to support leadership and key internal communication projects.
  • Develop and deliver a large range of varied communications material. This will require to source, effectively write and edit content suitable for a range of communication materials and audiences.
  • Project plan, draft/edit speaker presentations and implement communication events, eg manager briefings, General Manager presentations for delivering division-specific updates.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
  • Manage sections of the intranet by generating content, assisting others to use/add content.

Your Experience

To secure this fabulous opportunity you will need to have worked in a hands on communications role within a large complex organisation working with a blue and white collar workforce that has gone through significant change. 

You have sound understanding of communications and change principles, and exceptional written and presentation skills - with experience working across a variety of communications channels. Strong relationship building, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills will be essential to your success in this role, as will your well-developed project management skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

  
As the successful applicant you will need to be available within a 2 week notice period and have:
  • Previous experience working in change and communications
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-managing and action oriented
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications 
  • You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job.
