IR/OD Specialist - Nationally based Not-for-profit

This major Not for Profit operates on a national basis and is a key innovator in the community services sector. Under the guidance of a newly appointed and forward thinking CEO, this organisation is repositioning itself to ensure it continues delivering outstanding service and experiences to both its clients and employees.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Management Support, you will provide support across both IR and OD. Gaining a thorough understanding of the organisation you will team this with your detailed knowledge of the regulatory legislative and policy context to provide up to date advice and guidance to managerial staff. You will support the organisation on proactive projects as it undergoes transformation and will seek opportunities to transform reactive issues into preventative organisational development initiatives. Collaborating with key stakeholders you will co-develop OD plans incorporating new organisation designs and flexible industrial arrangements to support the delivery of competitive advantage, leveraging your strong IR/ER skillset at all times.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have substantial industrial relations and employment law expertise, teamed with demonstrated understanding of implementation of change in a large organisational context and substantial experience in a similar role backed up with relevant tertiary qualifications. Knowledge of the human services sector would be highly desirable as is demonstrated experience with executive reporting, policy and compliance within a corporate setting.
