L&D Manager or Training Manager required for leading retail brand in Sydney.

Your new company
Large multi-national retail brand with over 200 stores and sites across Australia and large workforce based across all states and territories. Working at the Australian Head Office in Northern Sydney.

Your new role
This is a new created L&D Manager opportunity to work closely with the HR Director and senior leadership team in the redesign and rebuild of the training and L&D function. Specifically with the goal to improve and drive engagement across the brand through best practice and high calibre training and career offerings. You will be tasked with needs and gap analysis of all L&D programs and processes within the organisation. You will then redesign, implement and roll out new training tools, LMS improvements, L&D programs and initiatives across the country. You will be supported by a small team of facilitators however you will be expected to spend time with the business, travel and facilitate leadership programs and train the trainer as well as more strategic project work.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be seasoned L&D Manager/Training Manager who feels equally comfortable out in the field training managers and engaging with the workforce, as well as focusing on L&D strategies and redesigning e-learning modules. This is a very hands on and varied role so the ideal candidate will enjoy both strategy and facilitation and have a passion for the service industry, QSR, Hospitality or Retail. You will be hard working, ambitious and driven. You will be expected to travel on a regular basis as part of this career defining opportunity so you must be happy to work in a head office and field based culture.

You will be offered a salary of $100,000 - $130,000 base + super. There is a potential car allowance on offer for travel as well as other incentives.
