As a leading people-focussed organisation, our client is looking for an experienced Learning & Development / Organisational Development Specialist to join their organisation as part of the Human Resources team. This role, in the public sector, plays a key role in the business and will focus on delivering the strategic learning agenda, drive capability development with innovation and collaboration for the business.

Reporting directly to the General Manager - People and Culture,, this role will develop and deliver the learning strategy for the business with a strong focus on building organisational capability. In collaboration with the broader human resources team and the business leaders you will "make change stick" and optimise organisational performance to a new level.

Key capabilities required for this role will include:

  • Proven experience as a Learning & Development/Organisational Development consultant
  • The ability to create a collaborative and innovative learning environment to build and elevate capability and drive positive cultural change
  • Experience in revamping and implementing an innovative Learning Strategy aligned to future strategic business goals
  • Building career pathways and capabilities for career progression within the business
  • Strong Program Management and delivery experience to timeline and budget
  • Strong Stakeholder Relationship and Management skills and the ability to strategically influence
  • A passion for leading, building, coaching and collaboration in a changing environment
  • Strong experience and drive to design and deliver innovative both technical and professional development solutions with risk and compliance

The successful candidate will have considerable experience within a similar role/environment, outstanding relationship building, coaching and influencing skills. You will also have a solutions-focused approach and deal with issues and change in a proactive, positive and dynamic way. You will be degree qualified and previous experience in change/transformation projects will be highly regarded.
