National P&C Operations/Projects Manager – 12 month maternity leave contract - Part time

Job Description  

Based in the Melbourne office, this national role works closely with the People & Culture (P&C) Director and National Staff Partner and is responsible for managing the delivery of all national P&C processes including remuneration, performance review, talent review, and monitoring the firm’s processes and policies to ensure they are compliant.

This is an exciting time to join the firm, as it looks to recalibrate and drive the business strategy, providing P&C with an important opportunity to renew their focus on people initiatives such as culture, learning and development and leadership capability.

Desired Competencies

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor degree qualification in HR
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in an HR generalist role
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to anticipate issues and plan ahead
  • Self-motivation and commitment to improving processes
  • An excellent ability to manage deadlines and prioritise work
  • Strong competence in various computer packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Professional services experience (desirable)
  • Compensation / benefits experience also desirable
