The People & Development department provides strategic and operational human resources business advice to its clients, who are all employees and partners of Allens.

We  have an exciting opportunity for a recruitment administrator to join our Sydney or Melbourne office on a 12 month contract. As a recruitment administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the resourcing team with daily operations and you will be provided with an exposure into in-house recruitment best practises by an award winning team.  You will be rewarded with an extensive opportunity for growth, a very generous corporate benefits scheme which includes a free gym membership and a fun, inclusive and highly regarded team.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Organise all candidate interviews;
  • Ensure that internal pageup records are updated in a timely matter to properly represent recruitment processes;
  • Manage and update our internal recruitment database on pageup;
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders such as recruitment agencies, partners and candidates;
  • Manage candidate correspondence;
  • Draft job adverts and external promotional material as required;
  • Generate reports and provide market research as directed; and
  • General office duties such as diary management and a wide range of administration as required.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Professional acumen and ability to liaise with candidates, business partners and partners;
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility which provides you to have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team;
  • To be a confident communicator and easily form new relationships and quickly develop rapport;
  • Exceptional administration and organisational skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, manage multiple projects and competing priorities with varied timeframes; and an
  • Ability to manage team expectations, with clear communication about reasoned deadlines.
