Your new company
A Government Organisation that has a direct impact on the community has an exciting opportunity for fixed term contract as a Remuneration and Benefits Manager. You will have the opportunity to join a driven organisation that values honesty and is community minded.

Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will lead a team that initiates, drives and implements effective remuneration and benefits solutions to support the business to meet its strategic intent. You will have specific responsibility in end to end remuneration management, leading a team in general accounting, superannuation, FBT, salary packaging, payroll tax principles, workcover payments and payroll audits. This role will be contributing to the overall objectives of the organisation in maximising the accurate periodic payment of wages and salaries.

What you'll need to succeed

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in HR, business or finance.
  • Extensive experience in an HR/Finance Manager Role
  • Demonstrated ability to provide advice and interpretation of payroll policy and processes
  • Extensive experience in SAP payroll processing
  • Ability to diagnose, strategise, design and deliver solutions to complex problems to meet business needs
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to demonstrate leadership across strategic issues in a considered and tailored manner
