Remuneration Manager - 12 month contract

We are seeking a Remuneration Manager to join our well respected People & Development function based at our Sydney CBD offices.

Reporting to the Head of Remuneration, Rewards and Performance you will develop and implement performance and remuneration policies and programs and consulting services that support the firm’s priorities.

This role is offered as a 12 month contract position commencing November 2017.

About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for (amongst other tasks):
  • Project managing the annual performance and remuneration review process for all King & Wood Mallesons staff in collaboration with National Practice Group and Centre P&D Managers
  • Developing our annual Staff Review budget, principles and communications
  • Managing our participation in various salary surveys and benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness
  • Managing the Firm Recognition Program including budgets, rewards and administration support
  • Support ongoing performance and reward systems and implementation
  • Providing subject matter expertise and consulting support in relation to performance and remuneration as required
About you:
You will demonstrate:
  • At least 4 years remuneration experience
  • At least 2 years of project managing a remuneration review
  • Qualification in human resources, finance or related discipline
  • Demonstrable experience in the design and implementation of performance, remuneration and reward frameworks, plus a sound knowledge of general HR management practises
  • Excellent standard of Microsoft Excel including a demonstrated ability to build analytics, modelling and build Excel tools
  • Ability to present remuneration and performance content both written and orally to management
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and to consult with stakeholders
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Flexibility, energy, initiative and ‘can-do’ attitude
