About the Role:

Working closely with local talent management teams across Asia Pac, the Resource Manager will ensure that all project resourcing requirements are met through the allocation of appropriately skilled resources from a pool of available resources. The Resource Manager will coordinate capabilities, preferences and workload to achieve the most effective utilisation of the talent pool and determine hiring needs based on each project’s requirements. Ensuring engagement and the quality of available resources in order to deliver high quality and consistent services to clients. 
Key Accountabilities:
  • Design and manage the resource management plan. Forecast resource demand and requirements for the organisation while identifying risk areas through monitoring, reviewing and reporting.
  • Plan and advise on resourcing requirements working in consultation with the business to define a strategic quarterly and annual outlook.
  • Lead the design and implementation of a strategic long-term workforce planning model, including processes and toolkits, for use throughout the organisation.
  • Introduce continuous improvement measures in conjunction with key stakeholders to improve resource availability and quality.
  • Analyse workforce data and develop responsive and innovative workforce strategies.
  • Ensure that efficient reporting requirements are in place, liaising with stakeholders to understand their business needs and how resourcing can support them with the provision of workforce information.
  • Participate in associated recruitment activities as required.
  • Establish and maintain positive working partnerships across the organisation, with a particular emphasis on the wider business functions, Service Delivery stakeholders and PMO to understand the context of future priorities and customer projects.
About You: 

We are looking for a degree qualified highly analytical individual who can demonstrate previous experience in the design and implementation of workforce planning and talent management models.
  • Previous experience of managing resource and capability supply within professional services and/or talent consulting sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing processes, systems and tools that aid in the tracking and monitoring of people capabilities within an organisation.
  • Proven capability in relationship management, business partnering, conflict resolution and consensus building in high-pressure and demanding situations requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understands own strengths and development areas, and takes action to continually improve behaviour in the workplace over the long term.
  • A relevant business tertiary qualification would be highly regarded.
  • Basic understanding of Project Management methodologies and adapts to changing priorities, as well as work under pressure.
