As a Senior Recruitment Consultant you will provide a high standard of customer service managing complex, difficult and senior appointments. The position is involved in a range of standard processes including advertising, managing applications and selection processes in line with organisational policy and the principles of merit based selection.

Working as part of team and reporting to the team leader you will coach and mentor junior staff. In this role you will;

  • Undertake processes to ensure accurate and timely selection activity and reporting in accordance with policy, legislation and awards where appropriate. Achieving and maintaining high standards of service delivery at all times.
  • Assist with coordination of recruitment campaigns and develop recruitment plans to ensure workforce requirements of the business unit are met
  • Work with managers to identify recruitment and supply trends and develop strategies to address these proactively, working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertake process change to meet changing technologies, policies and regulations and customer requirements

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Experience and knowledge of recruitment functions working at a senior level, with proven capacity to work within applicable legislation, policy and guidelines in a complex environment including knowledge of the GSE Act
  • Proven skills in the development of HR procedures and systems with specific exposure to recruitment and workforce planning functions ideally within state government
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills with evidence of the capacity to make balanced and ethical judgements
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritising skills with proven capacity to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to build close working relationships with operational and technical managers to ensure their business needs are clearly understood and met
