Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and as part of a collaborative, close knit HR team you will proactively partner with the business and act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers in the identification, recruitment and on-boarding of the best talent to drive and support the business strategy. Your portfolio will cover blue and white collar roles with the support of labour hire and specialist agencies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as subject matter expert providing advice to managers on recruitment best practice, market trends and sourcing strategies
  • Managing end to end recruitment including; advertising, screening, interviewing and associated coordination
  • Partnering with managers to identify recruitment needs, priorities and workforce planning
  • Working with senior leaders and Executives within the business
  • Building trusted relationships with hiring managers and being proactive in managing and communicating issues in support with the HR Advisors for each client group
  • Managing candidate expectations throughout the recruitment process
  • Sourcing candidates using a variety of channels including web-based and direct sourcing
  • Managing relationships with preferred supplier recruitment agencies for Labour hire and specialist recruitment across blue and white collar positions
  • Negotiation of offers of employment, conducting background checks and on-boarding
  • Managing and maintaining recruitment processes and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the implementation of an ATS in the next 6 months

Your consultative approach and ability to build credibility and trust with multiple stakeholders coupled with your proven track record within a fast-paced, busy recruitment function will be the key to your success. With the ability to work a 6 months contract and potential for a permanent role, you will have:

  • Experience working in a large, complex environment
  • Experience recruiting a high volume of roles ideally a mix of blue and white collar
  • High self-motivation and a positive, can do attitude with strong time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
  • Diligence in compliance and recruitment processes
  • Proactive, resilient, down to earth and a great team player
