The Role

This is a varied and busy, Talent Acquisition Lead role, both operational and strategic, and you will work as part of a larger HR team as part of a newly formed COE HR model. This is an opportunity to build the talent acquisition function, partnering with senior management and business leaders you will create, project manage and drive talent acquisition initiatives in line with the business strategy, and lead a team of talent acquisition specialists. You will be instrumental in driving the change management agenda and create and deliver on recruitment needs to create a contemporary and innovative talent acquisition offering to support and drive the business objectives in line with the broader regional people plan.

Your experience

  • Strong Leadership capability with demonstrable experience in building and leading talent acquisition/ recruitment functions.
  • A background in progressive recruiting experience, with experience leading a high performing and results-driven recruiting team, ideally from an ASX or blue chip organisation.
  • Experience in building a recruitment strategy, and an understanding of the structure and process required to deliver against that strategy
  • Ability to understand, interpret and leverage data and analytics to ensure the success of the talent acquisition function.
  • Outstanding account management skills with ability to understand the business
  • Experience working with and improving recruiting tools and systems, including candidate relationship management and applicant tracking technologies, sourcing tools, and online collaboration platforms
  • Tertiary qualifications (preferred)
  • Self-motivation, drive and resilience are essential and you will be highly-skilled in influencing, negotiating, gaining credibility and building relationships with stakeholders.
  • You will also be patient, assertive and diplomatic, with a collaborative style and willing to roll up your sleeves and own your portfolio.
