About the Role
Reporting to the Global VP of Talent Acquisition & Mobility, this is a key leadership role for the Pacific Region responsible for the strategic planning, design, implementation and communication of all regional Talent Acquisition programs.   In this role
Leading a team of 5, you will partner with organisational leaders to ensure that the Talent Acquisition Team provides efficient and effective services that support the ongoing needs of the business.
You will foster a collaborative team environment and a strong candidate experience.
Key accountabilities will include:
  • Provide overall direction and management for Talent Acquisition strategy, guidelines and procedures, systems and methodologies, including social media, assessment and analytics.
  • Establish short and long-term recruiting strategies designed to deliver  key organizational metrics (i.e. cost per hire, time to fill, diversity, quality of hire etc).
  • Personally manage the recruitment of all Director level positions for Pacific region
  • Manage department budget and financial objectives.
  • Manage the University Relations & Recruiting program which includes: developing strong relationships with key universities, executing on campus public relations events, and developing Apprentice and Internship recruiting strategies to meet the growth objectives of the company

  • Supporting company diversity goals by defining new resources and strategies to build a diverse talent pool for key positions.
  • Develop and lead a high performance team, ensuring they build the skills, capability and program management of a professional recruitment function
  • Foster a highly proactive sourcing capability, using the latest sourcing tools, methodologies and talent mapping approach. Define and target critical roles. Drive use of candidate relationship management tools and activities.
  • Drive innovative and engaging Employer Branding campaigns, employment advertising, including company web site, social media, internet job boards, recruitment brochures, and other media.
About You
You will be a thought leader in the space of market intelligence, recruiting trends and legislative initiatives that have short and long term implications on the profitability of the business.

You will have the capability to partner with HR and business leaders to educate key stakeholders on strategies to optimize the attraction, development and retention of talent.

Ideally you will hold an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in a relevant field  and have proven experience managing the full life-cycle of the Talent Acquistion process and be an experienced leader of people in a  highly dynamic and diverse environment. 

Your approach will have a focus on a strong candidate & customer experience and you will have a demonstrated ability to understand the customer’s business, issues and needs, proactively responding to customer requirements.   You will have a passion to transform end-to-end business processes through scale, automation, standardization, performance management and customer satisfaction.
