The Role:
Virgin Australia are seeking the skills of a Recruitment and Talent professional for a leadership role managing the talent acquisition team. Working with business leaders to understand the current challenges within the industry and the future vision for the business, your role will be to assess “current state of play” and create a recruitment and sourcing function that supports the businesses goals and enables exemplary service across all regions. This role will set the talent & sourcing strategy for critical hires, contract and casual recruitment and design the structure to support it. The role will report into the Head of HR and lead a significant team.

About You:
The right person for this role could come from a variety of backgrounds. We are open to exploring different profiles provided you have demonstrated experience improving a talent and recruitment function and leading and managing a large team. Ideally you have worked in multiple talent functions exposing you to various service delivery models and systems to draw from.  Interpersonally, you will be a strong people manager, have excellent relationship management and consulting skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute in a complex operational environment. Virgin are seeking dedicated people who are passionate about customer service and ready for the challenge of working in a challenging environment. Experience in a large corporate environment and volume recruitment required.
