The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, driven and motivated recruitment generalist. Whilst the core of the role focusses on call center operations, it offers a wealth of diversity into many different specialty fields. The Asia Pacific region is experiencing a rapid growth phase and seeking and experienced recruiter to meet the needs of the region and establish best-in-class practices relating to the recruitment and selection process. The role is Melbourne based, but responsible for meeting the full cycle recruitment and selection needs of the Asia Pacific region.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully recruiting and placing suitably qualified candidates across the Asia Pacific region. Able to demonstrate their skills in using creativity and insight in finding possible candidates and sourcing appropriate tools to apply in the various markets across the region.

Overall Tasks and Responsibilities

The key outputs for this role are:
  • Relationship building – Establish and develop solid relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to imbed and support best-in-class recruitment practices. This includes all activity relating to the recruitment process, development of recruitment specifications aligned to position descriptions and identifying suitable recruitment strategies.
  • Recruitment – Identify recruitment channels, conduct the full cycle recruitment process, recommend suitable candidates and assist stakeholders in their selection process. Build and maintain sufficient candidate pipelines for all core and key roles.
  • Continuous improvement & functional development – Continuously coach, mentor and up-skill stakeholders in the latest trends and market conditions to assist them in their decision making. Investigate and advise the business on technology advancements, trends and tools that will optimize Percepta’s ability to gain access to the top candidates in the market.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Talent Acquisition or any related field is required
  • 3-5 years of progressive recruitment experience in a high volume and diversified recruitment environment is essential, while agency recruiting experience is an advantage.
  • Exposure to the call and contact centre industry is desirable.
  • A demonstrable advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques using modern technology as well as social media and experience using LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook to identify and engage talent is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing a talent acquisition framework is essential.
  • Strong organizational, time management, planning and problem solving skills
  • A strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in an environment with time sensitive deadlines
  • Prior demonstrable experience in managing talent acquisition campaigns on an international level is essential, Asia Pacific exposure advantages.
  • A strong work-ethic with a preparedness to work outside of normal regional office hours is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments and excel in a high volume demanding environment
  • An understand of the dynamics within the APAC region and the impact it has on sourcing strategies is essential (i.e. competition, unemployment rate, movement of companies in/out of area)
