Your new role
This role will support the Project Manager in providing mentoring, direction, process and procedure to a range of business managers and stakeholders across the institution. You will be mainly responsible for :

  • Mentoring of business managers, directors, project managers and faculty staff
  • Supporting the Project manager with monthly reporting , analysis and data collection for the status reports of on-going projects.
  • Managing the new , on-going and completed projects - consolidating reports to a full overview
  • Working with a range of stakeholders to deliver timelines, manage expectations, capability and employee engagement.
  • Delivery of successful outcomes, problem solving and assessment of risk
  • Standardising project process across the business, ensuring existing templates are adhered too, and aligning with project methodologies.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have held a similar role in a project environment ideally with a PMO set up where governance is paramount. You will have been responsible for overseeing a diverse range of stakeholders in different roles running approximately 25 projects at any one time. Examples projects include systems integration, CRM implementation, policy development and process automation. You will be an excellent communicator and hold a passion for problem solving and process improvement. Your ability to follow a thorough process and see the value in streamlining inefficiencies. Ideally you will hold a tertiary qualification in Project Management. However, candidates holding relevant degree in business or management, training or HR and some previous experience in a similar role are encouraged to apply. You will be comfortable with excel and report generation and hold a high level of written and verbal communication, with experience in comprising commentary on projects.
