About the Role
As the Manager of Learning you will work closely with the head of franchising, the corporate and operations teams.  Step one will be to get to know every aspect of the business, understand it from the inside out and then build a training plan to support the varying business needs.  This is a leadership role but without people management, so requires someone hands on who can operate at the strategic and tactical level.  Supported by external trainers you will responsible for the management and execution of the national training programme, packages and initiatives at all levels within the business; leadership development, customer service, store and business training for the franchise group.

  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles
  • High level of resilience – ability to deal with competing and changing priorities
  • Pragmatic and commercial approach to T&D – ability to grow and develop the T&D profit centre to contribute to the success of the brand
  • Ability to work independently, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, time planning and prioritising.
